acceptable position

Wednesday was my first follow up with Dr. Cuomo. They took a new x-ray and basically said, Meh come back in another month.

The x-ray was a slightly different angle than the first, so she wasn't 100% sure what the change had been if any. She pointed to the end of the bone where the crack was and said it was slightly "depressed." Apparently it is a "lip fracture". But even though it's a little lower than where it should be, she said the position was "acceptable."

That is me in a nutshell: depressed lip, acceptable position.

So I'm to come back in a month for a new xray. Her hope is that in a month the bone will be mostly knitted and range of motion will be mostly restored. Meantime: wean off sling over next week, continue range of motion movements, arm use: light, no lifting. Co-pay pls, kthxbai.
