keep indicator between arrows.

This is a fun thing about having surgery: afterward you have to suck on this thing to get the little ball to move up, while keeping the other smaller ball between the arrows. 10 times an hour! This helps prevent collapsed lungs. Linda is getting better but is still extremely difficult and stubborn when asked to perform.

So far still no fever + catheter is out!

Our poor roommate is crying because her whole family is in Poland and she speaks no English. Heather, maybe you can bring over a tenant to translate for the dumb nurse who thinks the poor woman is deaf instead of Polish?

  3. Why have you not pointed out to everyone that I excelled at this when I did it last night - on the first try? Don't deny me my cheap sense of superiority & showoff-ness!

  4. hc, when i say "blog" i'm referring to the blog in it's entirety. i've always believed that an entry within a blog is called a "post". just wanted to clarify.

  5. ha...i think she means that she excelled at the air blowing machine. which she DID! beat both linda and me by 1,500 millisomethings or something. ah, lungs of steel! ah, untainted by years of smoking!
